Memorable Holes

Number 5:

Par 4, 290 yards. This short par 4 is definitely drivable for long ball hitters. You’ll need to keep your tee shot right (not too far right or you will be in with the buffaloes that roam the nature preserve). A series of bunkers guard this small, flat green that make a good short game a necessity.

Number 6:

Par 5, 496 yards. This relatively short par 5 is reachable in two with a good tee shot. Beware of the pond on the right which definitely comes into play off the tee. You’ll also need to navigate the creek that crosses the fairway on your 2nd shot. Your approach shot will be to a small, slightly elevated green that features a lot of undulation.

Number 8:

Par 4, 455 yards. The first of back to back 450 yard par 4 holes; your best hope is that the wind is blowing in a favorable direction. Other than the awe inspiring length of the hole it is relatively straightforward. Woods line the left side and there is one bunker that guards a relatively small green.

Number 10:

Par 5, 600 yards. Be careful of the large tree on the left side of the fairway; it will block out quite a few 2nd shots and can leave a lot longer approach shot than you may deserve after a good drive. The green is elevated and has a ridge running through the middle of it. Par here is a good score.

Number 18:

Par 4, 459 yards. Quite the finishing hole; a dogleg left with water on the left the entire fairway. You can bailout right on your tee shot however that just makes a long approach shot that much longer. The green features a couple of small undulations and is well guarded with sand right and water left.

Crescent Oaks Country Club offers multiple tees that will allow you to use every club in the bag! Water comes into play on quite a few holes so if you tend to spray it, make sure you have enough balls.
